Pesca in Mare is operated by Alessandro Pala, Italian VAT number 04247870928, who can be contacted at ale.pala25@gmail.com. These terms describe use of the currently available version of the app and website.
Available features
The app offers a fishing chart, environmental data, a local logbook and an optional profile. Some features require an Internet connection or an account. The free plan is available without payment. Professional activation through Stripe is planned only on the web and appears when the service is configured; the monthly price and terms are shown before payment. If activated, manage or cancel your subscription through the portal available in Profile. Simulated plans in demo builds do not represent a purchase.
The three plans
Free: €0. Fishing chart, logbook, spots, manual entries and a basic trip summary.
Hobby: €10.00 per month, final price. Includes Free features, historical analytics and catch rates by spot, technique, lure and route, comparisons of recorded conditions and no ads. Microphone and AI services are not included.
Professional: €26.99 per month, final price. Includes Hobby plus microphone observations and AI for notes, images, sampled video frames and logbook questions. AI proposals must be checked and confirmed by the user.
Web subscriptions
The operator uses the Italian flat-rate tax regime (regime forfettario); no VAT is added to the stated prices. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. The amount, selected plan, billing interval and payment method are shown in Stripe Checkout before confirmation. Changes between paid plans are managed in the portal, where Stripe shows any amounts and the effective date before confirmation.
Cancel through the subscription portal in Profile: cancellation stops the next renewal and retains access until the end of the period already paid for. Available invoices and payment details can be managed in the same portal. Activation depends on payment confirmation from Stripe; returning to the website alone does not activate the plan. If payment is not in good standing, Professional features may be suspended and the profile returns to the free plan, without deleting the local logbook.
If you purchase as a consumer, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of entering into the contract by emailing your decision to ale.pala25@gmail.com, identifying your account email and subscription. No reason is required, and immediate activation does not automatically waive this right. Use the same contact for support or refunds. Cancelling renewal is separate from requesting a refund. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Safety at sea
The chart, depths, nautical marks and forecasts are estimates or third-party data that may be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated. Do not use Pesca in Mare for navigation, deciding safe routes or assessing hazards. Use official nautical charts, notices to mariners, suitable instruments and information from the competent authorities. Follow applicable navigation and fishing rules.
Account and personal content
If you create an account, provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You must have the right to use the profile content and photo you upload. Your logbook, spots and gear stay on your device or browser, with separate storage for guest and account data; export a ZIP backup with attachments or choose a private cloud backup and import it on other devices. The cloud backup is manual. Optional automatic synchronization can be enabled from Profile on each device using the same account; it exchanges changes while the app is open and connected and asks you to review conflicts.
Availability and changes
Online features also depend on external providers and may be temporarily unavailable. Features may be corrected or updated for security, reliability or service development. Material changes to these terms will be published on this page with a new update date.
